The Research Ethics Online System (EthOS) was launched on July 25, 2024 for the submission of new study protocols. Please review Getting Started and other resources on this hub before accessing the system.

Last updated: September 23

Migration of pre-EthOS protocols is now complete, and functionality for amendments, event reports, renewals, and closures is now available.

Principal Investigators (PIs) are encouraged to log into EthOS and validate that their legacy protocols (active and approved prior to August 13) are visible in your Project List.

If you don’t see a protocol that you were expecting, or if there are any errors with the migrated content, contact RAIMSsupport@uoguelph.ca citing the former REB Reference Number.

Please consult the EthOS Hub training resources including: updated EthOS FAQs, Legacy Protocol user guide, all other user guides and monthly EthOS Webinars

This migration marks a significant milestone in our EthOS journey as researchers are now able to enjoy the full range of EthOS functionality. While applications using the old Microsoft word forms will no longer be accepted, we are happy to help anytime as you transition to this new era of EthOS!

EthOS (Ethics Online System) is an easy-to-use online system that helps streamline the submission, review and management of research ethics applications.  Back to the Human Participants home page.
