Animal Care Services (ACS) User Training

The Animal User Training Program ensures that individuals involved in the care and use of animals for research or teaching at U of G are trained in ethical practices, regulatory requirements, and proper animal handling.

In-person facility orientations, hands-on workshops, and mentor-led training have resumed with modified scheduling. Trainees are assigned sessions based on their Animal Utilization Protocol (AUP), and completion of the online Core Modules is required before beginning animal work.
