I worked in a small rural village in my home country, Colombia. I had to take the bus every day. I took this photo during one of my rides. A woman put two boys on the bus; she said to the oldest one, “Take care of your brother. I’ll come for you in a few days”. This photo is a metaphor of my research. My research aims to understand the prevailing conditions that influence rural youth decision-making processes in developing countries.
