Pedagogical Merit Form for Instructors (U of G) Course instructors are to complete and submit this form to initiate review of pedagogical merit for Animal-Based teaching or training. For certain competency-based teaching or training activities where the intended learning outcomes are prescribed or mandated by a third party, such as a ministry of education, an institutional research/personnel training program or an accreditation or certification body, an expedited review process is available. |

Peer Review for Scientific Merit Form Scientific and Educational Merit review is required to be completed on all AUPs. This may be provided by the funding agency, the curriculum review committee, or the internal review process. During this initial review, AUPs that require internal merit review are forwarded for concurrent processing and completion of merit review forms. AUP final approval requires completion of this process in addition to the AUP review process. |

REB Annual Renewal Annual renewal form which researchers can use to renew a submission for another year or to close a submission. The TCPS2 requirement for CER is “Article 6.14 The REB shall make the final determination as to the nature and frequency of continuing research ethics review in accordance with a proportionate approach to research ethics review. At minimum, continuing research ethics review shall consist of an annual status report (for multi-year research projects), and an end-of-study report (projects lasting less than one year).” |
