Minimum Processing Times
In general, Office of Research minimum processing time for NSERC grant competitions is one (1) week for Discovery and Research Tools & Instruments, and two (2) weeks for Alliance, prior to the external deadlines posted by NSERC.

Application Instructions
For non-electronic submissions, please send a complete, signed copy of your full application including an OR-5 form [3] to the Research Services Office for signatures by the internal deadline.
For electronic submissions, please perform the electronic submission and then submit a complete, signed OR-5 form [3] to the Research Services Office by the internal deadline.
Researchers must provide a signed OR-5 form and upload the final version of their application via the NSERC Research Portal for review/submission by Research Support Services by the internal deadlines.
