Industrial Research Opportunity: Immuno-assays for detection of psychoactive compounds
The Catalyst Centre was recently approached by a company that is interested in engaging the University of Guelph on a collaborative project leading to a working prototype of a hand-held device capable of detecting and quantifying cannabis psychoactive components in suspected impaired drivers.
This Ontario-based company is a pioneer and world leader in breath alcohol detection, and currently distributes oral-based immuno-assays for detection of psychoactive compounds. They are interested in emerging technology from the University of Guelph that they could support through to the product development and demonstration stage.
If you are working on such technology, and would like to connect with the company, please contact Vanja Djukic (vdjukic@uoguelph.ca, Ext. 53592)
