Description

The Department of Defense (DOD) programs managed by the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) have released the Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24) pre-announcements.

The FY24 Defense Appropriations Bill has not been signed into law. Although FY24 funds have not been appropriated, CDMRP is providing the information in this pre-announcement to allow investigators time to plan and develop ideas for submission to anticipated FY24 funding opportunities. This pre-announcement should not be construed as an obligation by the government. 

FY24 Pre-announcements released

Autism Research Program (ARP) released a pre-announcement for the following funding opportunities:

  • Career Development Award
  • Clinical Trial Award
  • Discovery Award
  • Idea Development Award

Hearing Restoration Research Program (HRRP) released a pre-announcement for the following funding opportunity:

  • Focused Research Award

Joint Warfighter Medical Research Program (JWMRP) released a pre-announcement for the following funding opportunity:

  • Military Medical Research and Development Award

Lung Cancer Research Program (LCRP) released a pre-announcement for the following funding opportunities:

  • Career Development Award
  • Concept Award
  • Idea Development Award
  • Patient-Centered Outcomes and Survivorship Award
  • Translational Research Award

Tuberous Sclerosis Complex Research Program (TSCRP) released a pre-announcement for the following funding opportunities:

  • Clinical Translational Research Award
  • Exploration – Hypothesis Development Award
  • Idea Development Award

Vision Research Program (VRP) released a pre-announcement for the following funding opportunity:

  • Mentored Clinical Research Award
