Equity, diversity and inclusion is foundational to research excellence at the University of Guelph.

The Office of Research has published a page of FAQs and resource link s to help faculty, students and staff integrate EDI into their research activities. The page will be updated as new information becomes available.

By learning and applying key principles and best practices, researchers will enhance the relevance, quality and impact of their research, meet ethical standards and legal requirements for fairness and equity, and foster greater inclusion.

What is Research Alerts?

Research Alerts is a communications technology that allows UoG faculty, staff and students to stay up to date on news from the Office of Research. Through Research Alerts, subscribers receive emails related to research funding opportunities, workshops and events, policies and more. Each subscriber sets individual preferences to indicate the topics and categories of information that are of interest to them. When a message (Alert) is published in the Office of Research that matches the subscriber's selected preference categories and topics, it is e-mailed directly to the subscriber. Because this is a web-based technology, the Research Alerts site can also be searched using the search fields, or browsed through the topics by category.
