Description

The University of Guelph invites expressions of interest (EoI)s and/or recommendations for nominations to the Royal Society of Canada.  The Royal Society of Canada seeks scholars "with exceptional and original publications, intellectual achievements, and creative activities.  Their achievements are in the arts, the humanities, the social sciences, and the sciences."  Consider expressing your interest in this prestigious fellowship, or recommend a colleague. 

EoIs/recommendations will be first adjudicated within the College, faculty should contact their Associate Dean Research or College Research Manager regarding any College deadlines.  Each College may put forward two recommendations for nomination.  The University will submit up to three nominations for fellowship to the Royal Society of Canada on December 1, 2018. 

Eligibility

Must be Canadian citizens or Canadian Permanent Residents for at least three years.

If College-level review is required, your College will communicate its earlier internal deadlines.

College Nominations should be emailed to stratprg@uoguelph.ca and include:

  1. A 1-2 paragraph summary of major accomplishments that also outlines the candidate's contributions to her or his field.
  2. Current CV
