The Office of Research continues to implement recommendations from the REB Working Group Report, including hiring a new Ethics Education and Compliance Advisor to support the Ethics Office. 

Donna Drohan was the successful incumbent and started the position in late February. 

Donna joined the Research Ethics unit in 2020. Over the past four years, she has been a key contributor to maintaining operations throughout the pandemic and creating strategies for improved compliance. 

As the Ethics Education and Compliance Advisor, she will be responsible for the overall administration of a training, education and quality assurance monitoring program for research involving human participants.
