Description

On Wednesday, October 11th, 2023, eCampusOntario will be hosting a webinar to help researchers learn more about the Ontario Collaborative Innovation Platform (OCIP) and the exciting opportunities the platform offers. OCIP  connects expert researchers at Ontario’s postsecondary institutions with Ontario companies to help businesses innovate and get to market more quickly and confidently. The webinar will provide you with an overview of how to register on the OCIP platform, how to maintain your profile and how to participate in your next research and development (R&D) collaboration.

How OCIP Works for Researchers
Every innovative project begins with the scoping phase, which forms the backbone of any groundbreaking initiative. Researchers who take part in OCIP will have the chance to be selected as ‘experts’ and complete a Scope of Work (SoW) to evaluate the feasibility of Innovation Challenges submitted by businesses and organizations in Ontario. For more information about how researchers can engage with OCIP, please visit OCIP for Academic Researchers page.

Throughout this webinar, researchers will be given an in-depth breakdown of OCIP along with a demo of how the platform works. There will be more information about Scopes of Work (SoW), guidance on how to take advantage of our resources, and an opportunity to ask questions.

To attend the webinar, RSVP your attendance by Tuesday, October 10th. Feel free to encourage others within your networks to attend. Please note that the webinar will be recorded and shared after the session.
