New Human Research Ethics Application and Website – old forms will no longer be accepted after March 15

We are pleased to announce that that Research Ethics website has been relaunched with updated forms, new FAQs, and a step-by-step guide leading you through the process of obtaining clearance from a Research Ethics Board to involve humans in your research project.

When completing an Ethics Application please be sure to always download the form directly from the website.

Please note that the REB will no longer accept the previous application form after March 15^th.

What is Research Alerts?

Research Alerts is a communications technology that allows UoG faculty, staff and students to stay up to date on news from the Office of Research. Through Research Alerts, subscribers receive emails related to research funding opportunities, workshops and events, policies and more. Each subscriber sets individual preferences to indicate the topics and categories of information that are of interest to them. When a message (Alert) is published in the Office of Research that matches the subscriber's selected preference categories and topics, it is e-mailed directly to the subscriber. Because this is a web-based technology, the Research Alerts site can also be searched using the search fields, or browsed through the topics by category.
