Description

eHIPP will support inter-sectoral collaborations of researchers, health systems, end-users and health technology partners to improve outcomes, patient experience and health care efficiencies in two eHIPP priority areas:

  • Early identification of, and intervention for youth and adolescents (11-25 years of age) with mental health conditions; or,
  • Support of seniors with complex care needs in their home

Funding Availability

eHIPP will fund grants up to $1.5 million. Applicants must secure external partnership contributions, and CIHR will match these contributions on a 1:1 basis up to $187,500 per year with a maximum total of $750,000 over four years. Funds previously secured for innovation development are considered eligible if received within 18 months of the funding start date
